Client was looking to convert and enlarge an existing barn shed to a unique space that could someday be utilized as a pool house with minor interior tweaks.

The old barn was stained black with cedar used to blend with previously constructed elements in the yard. Three sizes of boards were used to give interest to the shed.  A large clerestory window was added to the western face to allow light in.  For the entry, a sliding barn door,  constructed out of polycarbonate panels,  was used.  An additional door was placed on the east side to allow for the removal of large tools and furniture.
