Christopher is the founder and design principal of (r)evolution architecture. (r)evolution architecture is an architectural design practice that aspires to provoke thought or emotion, excitement, or introspection through its work. By exploring solutions which blend ideas with instinct, data, and client needs (r)evolution architecture seeks to embody the amalgamation of its definitions… evolution + revolution.

The practice delivers a both/and proposition developed through a deliberate process, leveraging its legacy of over 20 years of award-winning built work, exploring and pushing boundaries in an effort to continuously expand into new typologies, domains, and contexts, and reaching for new and unexpected outcomes. Chris is also a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Association of Licensed Architects, the Society of American Registered Architects, the Chicago Architectural Club, and the Chicago Architecture Foundation.

He is a registered architect in Illinois, California, New Jersey, Wisconsin, Florida, and Minnesota, and is NCARB  certified.  Chris's work has been recognized by various organizations and has won over 30 national and local design awards. His work has been published in numerous publications and featured in multiple exhibitions, including The Art of Architecture for the University of Illinois, Silent Amplification at the Dallas AIA Conference, Bridging the Drive for the Chicago Architecture Foundation, and multiple exhibits as part of the Chicago Architecture Club Christopher has been a member of the UIC staff since 2006, and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor teaching graduate and undergraduate courses with a focus on design and technologies.
